Statement of Faith

We believe that the canonical books of Holy Scripture are the divinely inspired and infallible Word of God, the perfect revelation of God’s will for the salvation of men. The books of the Bible are the sole supreme authority in all matters of Christian faith and life.

We believe in one Creator God, absolutely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross, offering Himself as a sacrifice for our sins. He rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Intercessor.

We believe that the Holy Spirit glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ, convicts people of sin, regenerates them to new life, abides in them, and empowers them for godly living and service.

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and death. He can only be regenerated to salvation and spiritual life through the work of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.

We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection is the only basis for the salvation of all men. Those who repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as Lord by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and become children of God.

We believe that Water Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the commandments of the Lord kept by the church. However, without saving faith, they do not provide salvation.

We believe that the true Church consists of people of all times and all nations, regenerated by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ and united into the Body of Christ.

We believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Head of the Church and that every local church is under His leadership.

We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ who will appear to rapture the church and judge the living and the dead.

We believe in a bodily resurrection from the dead: for believers to glory, eternal bliss and joy; for unbelievers to judgment and eternal torment.

We believe in the necessity of fulfilling the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ — Mt.28.19-20.
